Au Fait + Echo Graphics = thrive

Time flies – it’s true – even in the ‘olden days’ – we’ve all heard of ‘tempus fugit’!

Little did Johnny Woods and I think ,when we first encountered each other, many moons ago (he a fresh faced young graphic designer, I a wet-behind-the-ears marketer), that many moons later we would still know each other, let alone be working together!

And it’s funny how things work out – some call it serendipity, we just believe that relationships are relationships – professional and personal. We are really lucky – we have GREAT relationships with each other, our employees, our clients and our suppliers. This common thread (and a shared ethos) has brought us together in the ultimate ‘unification’. No – we aren’t getting married but near enough, we are entering into a long term commitment to each other, our existing (and future) employees, partners and clients – we’re chucking our lot in together and formalising a business partnership that goes way back.

The Thrive team

This was a move which started to take shape and make more sense after we had both relocated our businesses to The HUB Workspace – same place, shared clients, two teams working as one…

Fifteen years on, it seems like the past decade and a half has been a blur of learning curves and dodgy fashions, if we’re honest. Today, however, we are focused on new messages, modern methodologies and a serious (but fun) focus on “building brands and delivering marketing results that you can measure”.

With the new entity comes a new approach to business and a new model – one which is centred around providing forward-thinking, positive businesses with the gift of ‘thriveability’ – helping and nurturing them to grow and develop by using the simple concept of creating marketing that people will LOVE!

In brief, we are on a mission – an inbound mission!

Inbound marketing is the most effective marketing method for conducting business online. Instead of the old, outbound marketing methods of buying ads, buying email lists, and praying for leads, inbound marketing focuses on creating quality content that pulls people towards your company and product, where they naturally want to be. By aligning the content you publish with your customers’ interests, you naturally attract inbound traffic that you can then convert, close, and delight over time.

What is really cool (for us and, ultimately, for you too) is that Au Fait Business and Marketing Services Ltd and Echo Graphics Ltd did a lot of this stuff before.

As Au Fait, we created blogs, content and social media marketing campaigns that engaged with your audience and increased brand awareness, as well as strategic and PR elements which added to your “kapow” as a brand who were ‘on the ball’.

Johnny and Echo Graphics already know what makes a good website and are passionate about creative design in all shapes and forms, they’ve been doing it (superbly) for a long time – so there’s no change there, either.

What has changed is that we’ve expanded to include a team of seven other people who are great at what they do. Both teams have continued to excel in their fields and have gelled as one team, rather than two.

If you already know us, you’ll know we’re a fun, friendly office (there’s nothing wrong with working hard and playing hard) who always have the kettle on and introduce you to everybody on our office floor. For this reason – and the changes across the marketing landscape – we’re the same hard working bunch, but we have one name, one brand and one goal – to build brands and deliver marketing results that you can measure.
