The growth of SMEs in the UK

We are all about the growth of SMEs here at HUB Workspace. We love to see the small businesses in this community grow and thrive. (Did you know that the number of SMEs in the UK grew by an average of 137% from 2011?) But for a great SME to grow so rapidly, it usually involves an injection of funding.

In 2013, SMEs have raised £332 million from the alternative finance market (crowdfunding, peer-to-peer lending etc, invoice trading etc) and it continues to grow. Now is the perfect time for investors to get on board and invest in small businesses that they believe have amazing potential.
